Overview

MultiBMS is an independent Bluetooth Low Energy battery-monitoring app for supported lithium battery management systems. By using MultiBMS, you agree to use it responsibly and only with battery equipment you own or are authorized to monitor.

Early-Access Software

Early-access builds may contain bugs, incomplete protocol support, changing features, and compatibility limits. Do not rely on MultiBMS as your only source of safety-critical battery information.

Battery Safety

MultiBMS provides read-only telemetry and alerts for convenience. It is not a replacement for a properly configured BMS, charger, fuses, disconnects, fire protection, manufacturer instructions, or professional electrical advice. Always follow the safety requirements for your battery chemistry, charger, vehicle, vessel, or energy-storage system.

Compatibility

Compatibility can vary by manufacturer, model, firmware, mobile operating system, and Bluetooth environment. Supported-device claims are best-effort and may change as protocol support improves.

Permissions

MultiBMS requires Bluetooth permissions to scan for and communicate with BMS devices. Android may present nearby-device or location-related permission language for Bluetooth scanning, but MultiBMS does not use GPS location.

No Warranty

MultiBMS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, compatibility with every BMS variant, or that alerts will always fire in every mobile OS state.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MultiBMS and its developer are not liable for damages, losses, equipment failure, battery damage, personal injury, data loss, or other consequences arising from use or inability to use the app.

Third-Party Trademarks

MultiBMS is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any battery management system manufacturer. Brand names are used only to describe compatibility with hardware sold under those names.
